An American Farmer and the Mis-Education of Weed is dedicated to all kids born into every ethnicity, religion, and creed, who are curious about how this plant became a “false" enemy of the state. Weed, cannabis, marijuana, or however it is labeled in our different communities across the country, should be more than just about smoking because it is an agent for healing and wealth.
Our hope for STUDENTS, after reading An American Farmer and the Mis-Education of Weed, is that they gain greater knowledge about the history of cannabis. That knowledge will inspire them to learn more, investigate and do further research to the point they might decide to establish one of the many different cannabis businesses for themselves. They will not be wholly enticed by the smoking side of it unless it benefits them medicinally and financially. (Despite the way they see it on television, in music, over the internet, and even in their own families).
Our hope for PARENTS, after reading An American Farmer and the Mis-Education of Weed, is that they would also gain new knowledge about cannabis, which in turn pushes them to reevaluate old taboos and adjust their stereotypes.
Our hope for the EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM, after reading An American Farmer and the Mis-Education of Weed, is that the book will be utilized to work hand in hand with updated curriculums. This way, kids will be able to read a fun and educational book that is based on a diverse family with values, pride, and truth.

Its only goal is to nullify the foolishness of its past precedents in this country while showing our kids and adults alike, that there is more benefit than harm in this plant. With the knowledge from this book comes healing, rehabilitation, and conversation that will inspire change throughout this country that we love so much.

The purpose of SVG is to change paradigms while ensuring that all young Americans, have every God-given right to everything; that each American child is entitled to.
We love Black history because it is America's History being set free from the prisons of ignorance that our education system has hidden and denied for far too long.
Our history books have hindered young Americans from reading these stories, however, each one is being told in a way that our kids will see and judge our ancestors for themselves. Silenced are those who blind us from our past because they knew that seeing it ensures we won't repeat it.
Shauna's Voice Group will offer a series of stories to empower all kids, while giving Black children and those of color, in particular, an extra sense of pride to understand why many of their communities are where we are today. Proving to them that their ancestors did great and amazing things, while enduring enslavement, persecution, and even death. Those souls who came before them saw in their hearts, their descendants, America's youth, doing even greater things.
